Reconnect with nature. A beautiful 2 bedroom barn conversion on our small family farm. Nestled in the Diepwalle forest, with direct access to incredible hikes & mountain bike trails. A great place all year round to escape the hustle & bustle of daily life. Get outdoors or curl up with a book, sunbathe on the terrace looking at the majestic Outeniqua & Tsitsikamma mountain ranges, eat & wine taste at the neighbours wine farm or travel into nearby Plett or Knysna for all that they have to offer.

Activities and Things to do
There is so much to do in the area. Or you can just switch off and immerse yourself in nature. Switch off the lights, check out the stars or watch the fireflies dance in the night sky. From exploring wine farms to exploring the great outdoors there's plenty to keep you busy during your stay in the area. The Garden Route offers some of the most magical and beautiful opportunities. Including hiking trails, mountain biking, shopping, restaurants, village markets, swimming and beach activities and animal adventures. Everything is conveniently accessible from our farm.
The Barn
Your accommodation here on the farm is lovingly called The Barn, a converted stable block. The comfortable furnishings and modern fixtures allow you to enjoy your stay with all the best facilities including WiFi for remote working opportunities. The Barn includes a large open concept plan living and entertainment area with a log burner fireplace and fully kitted out kitchen. Large sliding doors open out onto a north facing veranda looking out over a small dam and onward to the mountains behind. You can expect to enjoy a fire pit, excellent braai/bbq facilities and outdoor seating. The Barn has two double ensuite bedrooms which comfortably sleeps 4 adults or a family.
Our Surrounds
Ideally located in the famous Garden Route, the farm location gives visitors access to some of the most beautiful trails, hikes, swims and mountain biking experiences in South Africa. Simola trails are 35 minutes away. Further afield you have all the trails that George and Wilderness have offer to the West and Natures valley and Storms river to the East. Surrounding The Little Unknown are various walking trails that will attract both young and old with varying levels of difficulty. We are only minutes walk from the famous Fisanthoek Hiking hut where avid explorers camp overnight as they tackle endless hikes.
